Cloth Diaper Wipes

Cloth diapering is a great thing to do for your baby. A little known fact, though, is that it doesn’t have to stop at cloth diapers. You can also make or buy and use cloth diaper wipes instead of disposable ones for your baby. There are many advantages to this just like cloth diapers.

The financial advantages of cloth diapering are obvious. And these advantages carry over to using cloth diaper wipes as well. Even though baby wipes are not a very expensive thing, anyone who has used them knows that you go through quite a few of them – even sometimes when you are changing your baby’s diaper one single time. Instead, you can by a few dozen cloth diaper wipes or make your own and save quite a bit of money.

It is more environmentally conscious to use cloth diaper wipes as well. You can flush some of the disposable diaper wipes that some companies make, but not all of them. And most people don’t buy the flushable ones because they are more expensive. Throwing away anywhere from 10 to 30 or even more baby wipes a day is quite a bit of garbage, even though wipes are not very big. If you want to follow through with the idea of cloth diapering in the first place, then you can very easily use cloth diaper wipes.

Cloth diaper wipes are also often much better on your baby’s skin. If you have ever heard a baby scream when you wipe them with a wipe and they have diaper rash, you have felt your heart break. Some parents switch to cloth diaper wipes just because of this. If a baby has especially sensitive skin, the alcohol in many baby wipes can do a lot of bad things to their skin, even if they are not broke out right then.

All of the advantages of cloth diapering your baby go right through to using cloth diaper wipes as well. Instead of using disposable wipes, you can buy or make your own cloth diaper wipes and experience these advantages even more than with just the diapers.
