Buy Cloth Diapers to Save Money

Posted by Bryana on 2/15/2012 to Cloth vs. Disposables

Having a baby is expensive. And in these times, some people find it almost unbearably expensive to afford everything that is needed for a baby. Diapers are at the top of this list. They are just not cheap. But, you can buy cloth diapers to save money so that you can afford your baby.

Diapers for babies are very expensive. Most people opt for disposable diapers and go through a very minimum of about $20 per week in diapers. That is $80 or more a month, and a total of well over $1000 per year. That is a lot of money, especially when the times are not very good. Many people go through much more than this. And all of this money goes right into the trash can so that the next week, more money has to be spent on diapers. And after that, more and more money has to be spent as well.

But, you can buy cloth diapers to save money. Instead of paying every single week, you can buy a kit of cloth diapers that you will not completely consume and have to throw away once they are soiled. You can simply re-wash them and use them over again once they are clean. This makes the money you spent on the cloth diapers go much further.

When you buy cloth diapers to save money, you are also doing something great for the environment because you are not throwing away disposable diapers in large numbers a day. You are washing them instead. This saves you a lot of trash, and in turn a little money in trash bags and trash pickup as well. Not to mention, you are not pitching out a bunch of waste that will be just stuck in a landfill, which is never good for the environment at all.

If you don’t want to throw out a bunch of money in such times, you can buy cloth diapers to save money. And you can save quite a bit of money for this as well, in addition to doing a great amount of good for the environment.

I am currently 5 1/2 weeks along and will be setting aside some money each month and then buying our cloth diapers as the time gets closer. Many stores offer a quantity discount and I will be watching for sales, so this allows you to stretch your diaper budget even further.

I love that you can resell them and get some of your money back. With sposies, all that money goes to filling lanfill and polluting our earth. thanks.

I'm so glad I researched cloth diapers and invested in them before our little one came along. We're already well on our way to getting our money back with savings.
