A couple weeks ago, my sweet two week old (at the time) son broke out in a nasty diaper rash on his tummy, which quickly spread to his inner and outer thighs, and his right butt cheek. My first thought was, But Im using CLOTH DIAPERS!! And we had been since day one. You see, at birth, the hospital staff slapped a disposable on his brand new bottom and minutes later, to their dismay, he was changed to his Rumparooz Lil Joeys. And that was the last he would see of a disposable diaperor so I thought.

What's in your Sitter Stash?

to Cloth Diaper How-To
Most grandparents, even if they used cloth diapers on their children, wont be interested in flats, prefolds, pins, snappis, or covers. Some of our parents are even scarred with horrible memories of extremely bulky diapers, sticking their babies with pins, and leaky plastic pants. They may resist your cloth diapering ways and wish to use disposables while they watch the baby. Luckily, there are so many options out there that you can set up a nice little stash of cloth diapers for them to use that are as easy as disposables!

An expert's advice on washing machines.
Our clothes were starting to get this funky smell—our clean clothes, that is. A weird smell that only surfaced when we started to sweat or got caught in the rain. It was awful and I wasn’t sure what to do about it since they were already clean. I started adding water to my regular laundry the way I do to my cloth diaper loads, but that didn’t seem to help, and it was an AWFUL lot of extra work that I didn’t need in my full schedule......Have you checked us out on Youtube? You should!

to Cloth vs. Disposables
I hate disposable diapers. Most people who know me would think its because Im such a huge cloth diaper advocate, but thats not the case. I understand that cloth diapering isnt for everyone and that using cloth diapers full time is not always an option even for people who wish they could. I hate disposable diapers because I think their gross. Why?
