The best reason of all is that it seems to have some kind of magic sleepy dust that makes my son fall asleep within minutes of being wrapped!

The most recent place I babywore was at a college football game...SO much easier (and safer) getting through crowds, my daughter felt safe being next to me, I could climb up to our (nosebleed) seats with ease, and she fell asleep on me on the way back.

I've been wearing my two youngest boys since they were newborns, I had a c-section both times, and honestly carrying around those two hefty weights was tiring, so I invested in a wrap to help pack 'em around it made recovery easier, made nursing easier, and made me feel safer knowing my little guys where close to me! Even now the older of the two is 4 and still loves being held, and the youngest is 2 and I still wear him most places we go. Baby wearing has been all around a big life changer for us! =)

I love babywearing because it's the only way I get anything done. It's also the only way I can leave the house! I have five young children. One with special needs. I have to have my hands free when we leave the house and still be able to carry the baby. I wear the baby and hold the toddlers hand and the preschooler with special needs hands. The other two follow me. It's the only way we can go to doctors appointments or leave the house at all. Plus it lets me be close to the baby while taking care of everyone else.

I love baby wearing because sometimes I just need 2 hands even though my baby just needs held. I just got supper in the oven with my toddler on my back, and he promptly passed out. :)

I love babywearing because I love keeping my baby (well toddler now) close to me while we're out. It always helps calm them even in overwhelming environments. Like two days ago at Disney when my daughter slept in her carrier for 2 hours while we kept enjoying the park (even going on rides) with our older child. Can't do that with a stroller!
