I initially got these to help dry our cloth diapers faster but I ended up using them with all of our laundry and they work great! Definitely cuts down on drying time and softens up any "crunchy" diapers after they air dry.

Quite a few people have said these don't help to reduce static very well. I found that static was far worse when I stopped using dryer sheets, but now that it's been years since I've used any kind of dryer sheet or fabric softener, I have no trouble with static. These do a great job of cutting drying time by helping to separate items in the dryer. They are soft and don't make much noise (my mom has the rubbery kind and it sounds like a war zone). I would absolutely buy these again. In fact, I think I'll buy some for my mom.

I have been greening up at home and thought I'd give these a whirl. I really love them. They are not 100% effective at reducing static cling. However, they absolutely soften the clothes adequately and ensure that all the clothes are dry. I have not felt the need to use any liquid fabric softener nor dryer sheets since purchasing these and plan to purchase a few more for larger loads.

I bought 4 of these and so far they seem to work well fluffing prefolds and towels without much static. A bit noisy, though, so I'm glad our dryer is in the garage,
