The baby diaper has come a long way since moms of yore used leaves, skins of animals or anything they could gather from their surroundings to wrap their children’s bottoms. The AI2 diaper basically has two components. The outer layer of the AI2 diaper is made of waterproof material while the inner layer is an absorbent cloth pad that is placed exactly against the skin of the baby’s bottom. When wet or soiled, the insert is simply removed or detached and disposed of. It is then replaced with a new pad. The waterproof part of an AI2 diaper can be washed, dried, and reused every time it gets dirty. Aside from holding the absorbent insert in place, the durable outer part also acts as a covering for flats, pre-fold and fitted diapers.
The AI2 diaper is one of the more mommy-friendly baby diapers in the market. It is popular among parents because they are easy to use and comes in a number of cute designs. The fact that the outer waterproof part can be reused several times also makes the AI2 diaper earth-friendly. |
