If you are cloth diapering your baby, then one thing you will no doubt have to have is a diaper pail. There are two kinds of cloth diaper pails that you can get. This article will introduce you to both of these kinds of pails so that you can decide which one will be the best for you, or if you want to have both.

The first of the two cloth diaper pails is called a wet pail. It is filled with a solution that will keep the diapers in the solution until it is time to wash them. The diaper company will usually recommend a solution that you can use, or you can use one of your own if you like. Just donít soak them in bleach because cotton will not standup to this.

There are many different sizes of wet diaper pails, and you should always make sure that you get one you can easily pick up and empty whenever this is needed. Otherwise, you will surely have quite a mess on your hands. You should change the water daily if possible.

There are also dry cloth diaper pails that you can get for diapers that are much less soiled. These are not necessarily air tight, and instead of purchasing special dry cloth diaper pails, you can just use a trash can with a lid to save quite a bit of money. You should remember, though, if you have a dry pail, it should be cleaned out at least every two days or so to keep the odor down.

If you use dry cloth diaper pails, then you should always remember that it is a great idea to use a diaper pail liner. This will keep the odor and anything off the sides of the pail and keep it as clean as possible. You may also have to have something inside dry cloth diaper pails in order to eliminate the odor.

If you want to cloth diaper your baby, you can use either wet or dry cloth diaper pails. The choice is up to you, but you will just have to have at least one of these for your diapers to be stored in until wash time.
