Decent Diaper, Great Price

At the time of this review, my baby is 5 weeks old, a skinny 8lbs4ozs and was 6 lbs 6 ops and 18 inches at birth/discharge. I bought these before birth and have been using from the beginning.
Overall, the diaper is a decent diaper for the price point and is in my newborn rotation, even after I have culled diapers that didn't work due to fit and/or performance. However, it is the last one I reach for of my current stash.
Pros: Great price point for a NB AIO--would be economical to build a stash of these. They have a good weight and fit range and my guess, based on current experience, is that they will continue to fit past the advertised 12 lbs. The fit has been good--especially for a skinnier/smaller baby. Where I found some of the other AIOs too bulky, these are VERY trim with only the sewn-in soaker and still fairly trim with the optional insert. The diaper is nice and stretchy and this, combined with the aplix, makes it pretty easy to get a good fit. It has done a good job of keeping in the EBF stools. The fleece lining is very soft, as advertised. The openings on both ends of the pocket make stuffing easy and they optional insert agitates out nicely during the wash. Cute patterns and colors.
Cons: They leak, even with the optional doubler, I can't get more than 3 hours without a urine leak, which eliminates them from overnight use (my son is an average wetter). The aplix is not very strong and frequently comes undone from the laundry tabs in the wash (though performs fine on the baby). While the fleece lining is nice and soft, as mentioned above, it also is longer than the outside of the diaper and floppy so if you aren't careful to tuck it in during a diaper change, it can wick moisture out of the diaper (and it isn't easy to get to stay tucked in prior to putting the diaper on). I find this very annoying.
If you can manage to do every 2 hour changes, these diapers would be a good, economical AIO option.
