The Planet Wise Diaper Pail Liner is constructed of PVC (Polyvinyl chloride) FREE materials and generously sized to fit our 54 Quart Cloth Diaper Pail. A full 28" tall, the Planet Wise Diaper Pail Liner also fits most 13 gallon cans.
Made in the USA, the Planet Wise Diaper Pail Liner is sewn from a hardy polyester knit fabric; the waterproof liner secures to a diaper pail or can with a no-pill elastic.
Why is PVC FREE so important?
PVC (Polyvinyl chloride), commonly known as "vinyl", is one of the most widely-used types of plastics. Found in everything from children's toys to automobile parts, PVC is relatively inexpensive to produce.
Phthalates, a class of chemicals known to cause reproductive and developmental defects, leach into the air, water and bodies from the PVC. In addition, pollutants like carcinogenic (cancer-causing) dioxins are produced from plants manufacturing PVC. The results? Severe and chronic health problems like cancer, neurological damage, endometriosis, birth defects, and liver and kidney damage to name a few.
