Kiwi Pie Layers in Softness and Absorbency!
 The exterior of the Kiwi Pie One Size Bamboo Fitted is sewn from (2) two layers of their unique bamboo blend and an additional single layer of any number of fun and friendly cotton knit prints with colorfast dyes.
Included are two (2) 4-layer internal soakers that lay into these fitted diapers so parents can customize absorbency levels for their babies as they grow from infancy to toddlerhood. Use them apart or together depending on the size setting and wetting patterns of your child.
All snaps in the Kiwi Pie are made of durable poly resin. Snap colors may vary and all snaps are hidden on the inside of the fitted diaper.
Small and Large Settings Explained
The One Size Design fits babies approximately 8-35 lbs! When adjusting the Kiwi Pie Diaper there are two main settings to remember - Small and Large.
The Small Setting requires you to snap down the two snaps at the rise and lay in a small soaker, turning the snaps away from baby. The Large Setting requires you to unsnap the snaps at the rise and then, lay in two soaker snapped together. This adds absorbency for your older (larger) baby.
What's the big deal about bamboo?
A natural textile made from the pulp of bamboo grass, bamboo fabric has several unique properties that play positively with the cloth diaper industry - specifically its excellent wicking properties, absorption, softness, and durability.
Naturally smooth and round, bamboo does not have any sharp spurs to irritate baby's sensitive skin and as a cloth diaper fabric choice for fitted diapers, bamboo is highly absorbent - able to drink in three times its weight in water; bamboo wicks moisture away from the skin helping to keep baby's dry and rash free.
Kiwi Pie Fitteds are Absorbent, not Waterproof!
 The absorbent layers of the Kiwi Pie One Size Bamboo Fitted do not have any type of external, waterproof fabric to hold in moisture. Cloth diaper covers are a must!
The Gro Baby Diaper is a waterproof, trim diaper cover initially designed for the Gro Baby One Size Diaper, but fits over prefold diapers and most fitted diapers very well. If you are looking for a pull-on style cloth diaper cover, the Bummis Whisper Pant is extremely lightweight.
Choose from a variety of cloth diaper covers, but definitely choose one, because the Kiwi Pie One Size Bamboo Fitted Diaper will certainly not do the job on its own! |
