Kissaluvs Milk Pads - Silky Velour Nursing Pads
Kissaluvs Milk Pads are reusable cloth nursing pads. Although it is true not every breastfeeding mother experiences a need for nursing pads, Kissaluvs Milk Pads are a wonderful breastfeeding product for those who do experience leaking after their milk "comes in".
If you are expecting, and are not sure whether or not you will need nursing pads, it is wise to have at least a couple of nursing pads on hand; as your breastfeeding settles into a more regular routine, you will know whether or not you need to purchase more breastfeeding pads.

Kissaluvs Milk Pads are available in the above four prints.
When wearing Kissaluvs Milk Pads, a 100% organic cotton fiber (knitted into a silky velour) is what rests against mom's breasts. The outer layer is 100% printed cotton flannel; this will "hold" the Milk Pad securely in place in Momma's bra. An internal layer of hemp gives extra absorbency.
Each Kissaluvs Milk Pad is 4 5/8" inches in diameter. Expertly serged edges are soft against mom's breast; the "tuck" sewn from edge to the center of the Kissaluvs Milk Pads is designed to mimic the natural shape of the breast.
Why select washable nursing pads?
We realize there are several disposable options for breastfeeding available at your local baby center, but we recommend washable breast pads like the Kissaluvs Milk Pads for several reasons:
- Made from cloth, not paper, washable pads are more comfortable overall for mother.
- Washable pads are obviously reusable, making them more economically and environmentally friendly.
- Disposable breast pads have a tendency to "stick" to the breast if/when the milk that isn't absorbed hardens. This is uncomfortable and rarely occurs with cloth pads.
- A washable cloth pad allows for greater circulation around the nipples and breasts to reduce the chance of yeast.
- Reusable cloth pads, like Kissaluvs Milk Pads, are shaped to fit the breast more naturally, making it more discreet under clothing.
- Multiple layers of absorbent materials vary more widely in cloth pads than in disposable pads.
Washing Up Kissaluvs Milk Pads
An easy and comfortable breastfeeding product to use, the Kissaluvs Milk Pads are equally as easy to wash and dry.
Toss into a warm wash and tumble dry low. Remember to not use any chlorine bleach which can eat away at the fibers and render your breastpads lest absorbent in time. Also, stay away from fabric softeners in detergents or dryer sheets. These can create a repellant layer atop the fabric that will also cause your Kissaluvs Milk Pads to not absorb moisture after a period of time.
