Hemp Babies Little Weeds and Bigger Weeds cloth diaper inserts were designed by Jenn Labit of Cotton Babies, Inc., and sewn by women in the USA. Made from 2 layers of 55% Natural Hemp and 45% Certified Organic Cotton, the absorbent natural fibers in Hemp Babies Little Weeds and Bigger Weeds have eight (8) times the absorbency of cotton, but with the trim fit of a disposable diaper.
Serged with natural thread and seamed to ease folding, Little Weeds and Bigger Weeds clean up easily and dry quickly.
Because they are made from hemp fleece, Hemp Babies Little Weeds and Bigger Weeds boast less bulk and more absorbency; they gain absorbency with each and every wash. Keep babies dryer for longer with Little and Bigger Weeds.
Diaper Doubler? Prefold? Newborn Diaper?
Little Weeds and Bigger Weeds provide maximum absorbency in the trimmest way possible, they can be used as a trim prefold diaper, an insert for a pocket diaper, or folded into a preemie diaper with a cover.
Available in both small and large sizes, Little and Bigger Weeds will fit a wide variety of babies and were designed specifically to fit in a small or medium pocket diaper.
Little Weeds can fold in half to give infants 4 layers of absorbency with considerably less bulk. If your older baby is a heavy wetter or your newborn needs more absorbency at night, wrap a microfiber insert with these cloth diaper inserts! They also serve well as an organic, trim-fitting preemie (8 lbs. or less) or newborn diaper when wrapped in a cloth diaper cover.
Bigger Weeds can be used as a regular prefold diaper with a cover. The same width and two inches shorter than a fully-shrunk, premium-sized, Chinese Prefold diaper.
Stuff them into a FuzziBunz; they are also narrow enough, when folded into thirds, to fit a Happy Heiny's pocket diaper.
Preparing Little Weeds and Bigger Weeds
Before using Little Weeds and Bigger Weeds cloth diaper inserts on your baby, you will want to pre-wash them 3 to 5 times in hot water with a small amount of detergent, drying between each wash to fluff the fibers.
Expect them to shrink in size during this preparation process. Once pre-washed, the Little Weeds and Bigger Weeds can be washed and dried along with the rest of your cloth diaper stash.
