This is the best cream for our baby's bottom! it is gentle on his bottom, and it helps clear the rash too! I don't mind the smell, and you do have to work at it when the cream gets cold. But other than that, it's great! we love it!

My son had a really bad rash with an open area so I ordered some Grandma El's because it was taking so long to clear up. I was using another brand of CD-friendly cream that was helping, but very slowly. It works, its texture isn't as slimy as the other kind, and the smell isn't overpowering.

DD has sensitive skin and has had a few rashes. We were using CA Baby but that would not clear up her rashes. We tried this and instantly she was clear! I love it!!

I purchased this because my daughter randomly develops eczema in her diaper area. I was looking for a cloth diaper cream that would provide some moisture and a barrier to her sensitive skin. I've tried this product and CJs butter and really haven't noticed much difference between the products and the results on her skin. I've had much better results with northern essence products.

We've been liking Grandma El's a lot. We don't use it preventatively, just when the kiddo already has a rash. It seems to clear it up pretty quickly. The instructions say to use a light film rather than applying liberally like you would with some other diaper rash creams. So although the description on this page mentions keeping this size tube in the diaper bag, if you only use it when your baby has a rash, this size should last for quite a while at your changing station at home.
