The Flip Stay Dry Diaper Insert is one of three insert options for the Flip One-Size Diaper System. Flip Stay Dry Diaper Inserts can and will keep your baby's most sensitive areas feeling drier for longer.
How does Flip do it?
The Flip Stay Dry Diaper Inserts are comprised of four (4) layers for maximum absorption and wicking. With each of these stay dry inserts, you'll get three (3) absorbent layers of microfiber and a single, external layer of smooth stay-dry suede.
The stay dry suede used in Flip Stay Dry Diaper Inserts is a choice fabric and a popular alternative to the Flip Organic Cotton Diaper Insert for keeping baby's skin cooler and drier. Not only can you expect baby to "feel" more comfortable, but this fabric also reduces susceptibility to rashes from trapped heat that can breed bacteria.
Stay dry suede is a synthetic fabric, but with a napped or brushed finish it is just as soft as cotton. Other positive characteristics of this microfiber is its much easier to clean, highly stain-resistant, very hardy, and unlike "natural" suede, stay dry suede is not made from animal products.
Exceptionally Absorbent and Economical Inserts!
When we're talking about saving money with cloth diapers, materials are the most important aspect to consider. Microfiber is an ideal material for the Flip One-Size Diaper System for two more reasons - absorption and durability! This fabric has the exceptional ability to hold up to seven times its weight in water* making it an excellent choice for the absorbent core of the Flip Stay Dry Diaper Inserts. Not only that, its durability means these stay dry inserts can handle the wear-and-tear of baby's diapering days, needing to be replaced less frequently than cotton diapers.
The stay-dry layer in the Flip Stay Dry Diaper Insert is 100% polyester and the absorbent microfiber layers are made from 80% polyester and 20% polyamide. Resistant to stains and discoloration, just toss them into a washing machine on hot and tumble dry the insert. Stay away from laundry additives or fabric softeners.

The Small, Medium, and Large fold lines sewn across the top of one side of the Flip Stay Dry Diaper Inserts takes the guesswork out of how to fold down the insert to fit the different snap settings of the Flip One-Size Diaper System
Place the thin and absorbent stay dry diaper insert under the tucks in the front and back of the Flip Diaper Cover and go! They can also serve independently in any other cloth diaper system you use…try them as a diaper doubler, diaper liner, or additional absorbent booster in a pocket diaper.
