This 100% Indian cotton diaper provides ultimate absorbency with 8 layers of cotton through the body of the diaper and a 4-layer sewn-in soaker. Gentle elastic in the legs and back waist of the diaper provide a great fit and contain messes. This closureless diaper can be used with diaper pins or a Snappi for a truly customized fit.

Do I Need a Separate Cover?

Diaper Rite Pre-Fitted Diapers are constructed of 100% cotton and need a separate diaper cover in order to be waterproof. Some people question using a separate diaper and cover when there are all-in-one and pocket style diapers available. The answer is simple--you are less prone to leaks! We often compromise the fit of our diapers in order to accomodate absorbency (or vice versa), for instance an over-stuffed pocket will gap at the legs or waist. When we use separate components each part can perform its job without being affected by the other. The Diaper Rite One Size Diaper Cover is an economical waterproof diaper cover that works well with all styles of diapers. Of course, rash prone babies may appreciate the increased airflow and breathability when the Pre-Fitted diaper is paired with a wool diaper cover.

How to Care For Your Diaper Rite Pre-Fitted Diapers

Upon receipt of your Pre-Fitteds you will need to prep wash your diapers. Prepping your diapers is necessary to ensure that all of the natural plant oils are removed from the diapers and facilitate absorbency. The prepping process involves washing and drying the diapers multiple times (approximately 2-3 times for white cotton, and 5-6 times for natural/unbleached cotton). It is recommended you prep your diapers in a hot wash and dry them in the dryer. Once your diapers are prepped you will follow our general care instructions. Your diapers will begin to quilt as they are prepped and will get softer and more absorbent as you continue to wash them.

Care Instructions: Pre rinse diapers with cool water. Wash on hot with an additive-free detergent, and follow up with an extra rinse. You may tumble dry on low or lay them flat to dry. No bleach or fabric softeners. No diaper rash creams.
