Diaper Service Quality Diaper Rite™ Prefolds are HERE!

It has taken us several years of research to find what we believe to be the most quilted and absorbent Diaper Service Quality Cotton Prefold Diaper on the market today. Our Diaper Rite™ Prefolds are custom-made in Pakistan using "Indian" cotton; they are unlike any other prefold diaper available online.

Diaper Rite™ Prefolds, like Chinese Prefolds, and other styles of DSQ prefolds, are comprised of 3 vertical panels. Each of the panels differ in the amount of absorbent layers sewn into them - these panels usually have 4 to 8 thirsty layers of 100% heavyweight cotton twill.

Typically the middle panel is the thickest, since that is the length of diaper that rests directly along baby's stride. The left and right panels have lesser layers than the center panel to keep them from becoming too bulky when wrapping and fastening them around baby with diaper pins/cloth diaper fasteners, or when tri-folding them to lay into a cloth diaper wrap.

Prefold Cloth Diapers are an economical boon to cloth diapering families because they can stand up to the rigors of cloth diapering multiple children over a span of several years of use. Our prefold cloth diapers can also serve as burp cloths, cloth diaper doublers, pocket diaper stuffers, changing pads, cloth baby wipes, dry towels, and when you are finished with your diapering days, cleaning rags.

Unlike Chinese Prefolds and other styles of cotton prefold diapers, our Diaper Rite™ Prefolds boast a more "sensible sizing"; they are cut to lay perfectly inside two of our most popular diaper covers, the Bummis Super Whisper Wrap (as shown above) and the Thirsties Diaper CoverThirsties Diaper Cover.

The shorter length of our Diaper Rite™ Prefolds decreases bulk that can lead to leaks; these prefold diapers do not have to be folded down to fit into baby's cloth diaper wrap. The increased width gives a fuller fit around baby's waist for added comfort.

Diaper Rite™ Prefolds will hold up under multiple industrial washings, which is why they are identified as Diaper Service Quality cotton diapers. As these cotton prefolds are washed they will get softer, more quilted and more absorbent. In other words, your cloth diaper investment gets BETTER with use.

We know you've done your research if you are here reading about our prefold cloth diapers, so most likely you already know about chlorine bleaching and the negative effects of chlorine bleach. You can be certain that Diaper Rite™ Prefolds are not bleached with chlorine based whiteners, but instead, peroxide bleach. Not only does this add longevity to your cloth diapers (because they will not break down quickly in the wash as diapers bleached with chlorine can and will), but it also less harsh on the environment.

Diaper Rite™ Prefolds are available in two colors; plain white and the undyed, natural color of cotton. The edges are sewn with a heavier gauged thread than "traditional" prefolds for longevity and added durability. I just received these. The stitching and overall quality appears to be excellent! I am excited to use them on our new baby when she arrives. We used an AIO with our first, but I had problems with the microfiber materials and rashes. I am looking forward to using a natural material! They arrived right when they said the would. Prepped and ready to go, I got 18 newborns (white edge) and 20 smalls (purple edge) to start up my diapering system for my newborn. After having prepped all my new unbleached prefolds, if I were on a tight budget, I would recommend just going straight to the purple edged PFs. The white edged ones are perfect size now, but I know I won't be using them past 2 months or less. I know they'll work great and plan on buying more once my baby grows out of them.

Just got these and they are extremely well made. They quilted up and became absorbent after just 2 washes and they are still wonderfully soft. I can only compare them to the newborn prefolds we have, but they are better constructed and much softer even those the newborn prefolds are also DSQ.

I got a few of these to try out and love them. I use the green on my almost 2yo daughter and they should fit her through to potty training. They fluff up nicely after about 4 wash/dry cycles. I also have some of the Indian twill unbleached about a dozen and a half of them in infant size that I purchased used. They are my staple. I use them in every diaper I own. I love that they come clean so easily and rarely have a stink left behind after laundering.

My husband and I will be first time parents. They do not appear to be as fluffy as in the picture; however, I have not washed them yet. I tried them out on a stuffed animal and had a time getting the snappi to attach. I need practice! Assumed the fabric would be more grippy than than. Other wise I am please with the size and how much less bulk it appears to be with the covers than the small sized fuzzi bunz we are also trying.

I love these prefolds. I have others from another website, but the Diaper Rites are my favorite! They are cut perfectly to fit inside diaper covers with a simple tri-fold. I use them in a wide range of covers, including pocket diapers, and they fit just right every time!! I am ordering more since my son (4 mos. old) has now outgrown the newborn size I have. They are low priced enough that I don't mind buying different sizes.

These quilted up nice and fluffy after just the first wash. They're wider than other prefolds so there's more coverage but they're also shorter so you don't have to fold them down at the waist. We use them with Flip and Thirstie Duo covers and haven't had a single blow-out.

These prefolds are my first experience in cloth-diapering, and I was very pleased with how easy they are. I prepped them with 5 wash/dry cycles and they did shrink up and quilt beautifully. They are very absorbant. I am using them in a Flip cover, and am quite pleased. BTW, the medium prefold shrinks up to be the same length as the full-size Flip insert.

We LOVE the sizing on these! We had to switch from our bum genius one size dipes becasue our son was too large at 19 mos. We sarted using gerber prefolds w/ thirsties wrap and weren't impressed, but with these in the thirsties wraps, it's perfect! They fit him nicely and are large enough to soak up his super wet dipes every time. Great product!

These are the only prefolds i've tried but i think they work really well. i use them trifolded inside my flip covers and they work great to contain leaks for when i need to go a little longer between changes. they are super absorbant. they only negative is they usually give my daughter a rash if i use them more than once in a row so i have to alternate with staydry inserts. im guessing that would be the samething with any wet cloth against her skin though

I have a three week old and use the newborn diaper rite prefolds with snappis. I have thirsties duo and prowrap covers. My son can pee/poop through a disposable in about 3 hours, but I have not had a single leak when I have him in cloth. I haven't had to use any kind of doubler with them yet either. The sizing is fabulous-- There is no extra folding, the diapers fit perfectly in the covers.

I got the medium bleached for my 19.5 chubby 3.5 month old. They shrank to the stated size in only 2 washes and 1 drying! very good quality. They are very well proportioned in length to width, but I think it is worth noting that they probably will not go to the top of the weight range (for chubby babies, anyway) and be able to be fastened, because they barely can be on her now. Laying in a cover, however, these should last for the rest of her diapering time.

We have both the bleached and unbleached Diaper Rites and I love them both! If you're looking for a softer prefold, the unbleached Diaper Rites are definitely soft. They are both super absorbent. They fit my daughter perfectly!

We really like the sizing of the Diaper Rite prefolds. They seem less bulky than traditional prefolds, which we also have some of. We bought some Diaper Rites in newborn size to try them out and will continue to buy them as our daughter grows into the bigger sizes. I also like that the thread is different colors for the different sizes. This will make it easier to quickly tell them apart.

These are the only prefolds I have tried but I really like the size. They were a little bulky on our just born, but he's been gaining weight like a champ and now that he's around 7 lbs I don't have to fold down, just snappi. I have some infant prowraps that don't work well for trifolding, but will hopefully buy some thirsties or Bummis soon. I have the unbleached and they wash up nicely.

I purchased the Diaper Rite prefolds that have a green edge to them and my daughter is 20 lb at 10 months old. I have only washed them twice now and I personally felt they were very absorbent even after the first wash. I have the bleached kind. They are very soft and fluffy and are far far far superior to the Gerber ones. I have tried the Gerber ones with many leaks. The DR ones can be used with or without another insert or doubler so far. I love them!!!

The Diaper Rite prefolds were part of my first diaper purchase. I'm amazed at how well they are keeping my little one dry already! We are using them tri-fold with the Bummis SWW. I doubt I'll ever get another prefold. The only thing I don't like about them is I had a really hard time getting them tight around the legs when I used pins/snappis - but a good part of that may have been my inexperience.

I have gotten just about every brand prefold out there and when I got these I knew i would LOVE them. they are made out of a durable weave and quilt up nicely. Not much pilling at all and I would rate them at LEAST as good as my GMDs if not better. High quality prefolds! You can't go wrong ordering these!

I just bought some of these Diaper Rites last week and they are already my favorite prefolds! They are so soft after just a few launderings, and they seem very durable! I will be sticking to Diaper Rite from now on!!

I love how these prefolds are sized a little differently than most. A little wider and a little shorter can really make a difference. These can be snappied or tri-folded into a thirsties cover perfectly!
