Heavy Duty Cloth Diaper Pins - Diaper Rite

Diaper Rite heavy duty curved baby-safe diaper pins feature a brass head that pulls up to open and locks down to close. The locking feature makes this pin our number one choice for pinning cloth diapers. A curved design glides through the diapers for easy pinning. Available in four colors: pink, blue, yellow and white, our diaper pins are sold in packs of 2 pairs for a total of 4 diaper pins per package. Each pin is approximately 2 1/8" long.

Tip: To keep your diaper pins at their best, store the points in bee's wax or a bar of natural soap. This will help them glide smoothly through the fabric.

Useless 12/31/2011

I bought these believing they were similar to other slide-locking pins I have used. However, when I tried them, they head would not slide far enough open to even use. None of my cloth diapering friends were able to open any of the four pins either.

These things are horrid. I bought two packs. My snappis dull rapidly with my Babykicks Hemp Fleece prefolds so I got these pins expecting fabulous results.I am SO disappointed! These pins won't even go through the fabric without considerable force, and not the kind of force you want to use while pinning a diaper on the baby. I would not recommend these to anyone. I tried pins from both packs thinking maybe I had gotten dull pins. It just was not the case. Snappis are the way to go.

I have just ordered some Dritz pins. This is my 3rd baby, and I have used these pins before. I have tried other pins. None compare to the ease of the Dritz pins! You can actually get them through the fabric! DiaperJunction has a great price!

I know everyone loves snappis, but personally I prefer these pins. I have had snappis break, but these pins are sturdier and more affordable. Once you get the hang of using pins you can get a nice snug fit. I like the curved design--keeps you from ever poking your baby. The locking heads are a must. Store these in a bar of soap and they will slide right through the diaper fibers.
