Does your diaper pail stink? bumGenius Odor Remover will do the trick!
If you have a stinky diaper pail, don't fret - it isn't your cloth diapers causing it. The odor that reeks havoc on your nose is actually a by-product of odor-causing bacteria feeding on the organic proteins from your child(ren)'s waste. Lovely, right?
bumGenius Odor Remover will reduce odor between your cloth diaper washes. This non-toxic, biodegradable spray is 100% free of any harmful chemicals, oils, detergents, perfumes or solvents. The bumGenius Odor Remover is simply an application, it does not consume any of the natural organic wastes in your diaper pail, but it will temporarily reduce smells when sprayed on the soiled area.
How do I use bumGenius Odor Remover on my Cloth Diapers?
This all natural blend of water and vegetative microbes comes in 8 oz. bottles and should be sprayed from a distance of 6-8 inches on the inside, soiled area of a cloth diaper or cloth diaper cover. Of course, the bulk of the waste should already have been removed to the toilet before spraying the cloth diaper.
Once the diaper has been sprayed, simply drop it in a DRY DIAPER PAIL.
bumGenius Odor Remover can also be sprayed on clothing, rugs, furniture or any other porous surface soiled by a leaky diaper or diaper cover.
PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT an active enzyme - it will not eat the waste, just the odor-causing bacteria. Even though bumGenius Odor Remover is completely safe, it should not be sprayed on baby. We have several styles of soft cloth baby wipes and a lovely Bottom Cleaner that would best fit that need.
Already using bumGenius Odor Remover and diaper pail still stinks?
Rinsing and storing used diapers properly is only half the battle. Whether you use pail deodorizers like our Citrus Circles or the bumGenius Odor Remover, there is no substitute for a regular cloth diaper washing routine. Cloth diapers should not remain in their diaper pail for more than two to three days, whether they have been sprayed with bumGenius Odor Remover or not.
