What can you expect from a Bummis Swim Diaper?

Fun, updated cotton prints and a trim, attractive design that adjusts to fit baby's of all sizes.
Easy clean-ups and plenty of "breathing room" with an interior polyester mesh fabric
An inner layer of coated nylon sandwiched between two outer layers makes the Bummis Swim Diaper waterproof. It also ensures the pool stays sanitary by keeping messes contained.
Aplix closures adjust in the front to give baby a snug, yet comfortable, fit.
Stretchy, but soft, lycra bindings protect baby's tender skin from rough elastics.

SMALL: 7-13 lbs
MEDIUM: 13-20 lbs

Is the Bummis Swim Diaper a Diaper Cover?

Although the Bummis SWIMMI can certainly serve as a waterproof diaper cover, it should not be used in that capacity. The Bummis Swim Diaper was designed as a pool diaper - it is not meant to serve the dual purpose of diaper cover and swim diaper.

Nothing should be worn inside the SWIMMI - only baby's bum! The Bummis Swim diaper is not meant to absorb, but only to "catch" waste. The Bummis Swim Diaper should be changed immediately after swimming, then washed and put aside for the next pool outing.

This is the second summer that we are able to use the Bummis. Also since it does seem to run big, the same diaper fit my chunky baby last summer and still fits him now as a skinny toddler. We have totally gotten our money's worth!There were 2 things I didn't particularly like about it- #1 I'm used to laundry tabs and #2 semi-solid poo in the mesh is NOT fun to clean out. But I do like that in a pinch, it can be used with a prefold as a diaper cover!

My son is 23 lbs so I got the large diaper, but I am going to have to reorder him the medium because this one will definitely leak on him. He's a skinny little guy though so I'm not too surprised. Overall the diaper seems like it will do its job fine. We don't CD so I don't know if it runs true to Bummis sizes.

This swim diaper is nice and trim. It contains the messes wonderfully, washes up easily, and I love the turtle design I got!

I have been cloth diapering for a while, this is the first reusable swim diaper I have used. LOVE it!!!!! It is so trim but efficient. Of course, it does not hold tee tee but no swim diapers do. It is snug around legs, so will hold in any solid til a change is possible. Just wash, air dry and use again. Need to order more. I will say they seem to run a little big and this needs to fit snug, so order accordingly.

We love our new swim diapers! We have fully tested them (if you get what i mean) - and nothing escaped! They don't hold in liquid - which they aren't supposed to... so they are trim and sooo cute! We have the clown fish and the dot pattern - and are so excited to not have to buy any more 'sposies for the pool!

Wonderful diapers in very cute prints! My only comment is that it would be nice if they had a tiny bit of a liner to be a little bit absorbant on your way to the pool. I use a thin liner on our way to the pool and remove it to swim. All in all a great product!
