Two layers of breathable fleece sandwiches a highly breathable laminate between them. Densely knitted, yet lightweight, you don't have to worry about the Polar Bummi fleece being too warm for your baby to wear in the warmer months of the year; Bummis' Polar Bummi cloth diaper cover can be worn year 'round.
The Polar Bummi boasts of leg gussets edged with soft and stretchy lycra bindings that work hard to hold in any messes that might make it beyond the diaper and to the leg at the thigh.
Is the Bummis Polar Bummi micro fleece diaper cover waterproof?
The Bummis Polar Bummi micro fleece diaper cover is NOT waterprof. As mentioned, the fleece is densely knitted, and it WILL wick moisture away from baby's skin, but it is NOT waterproof; it is water resistant. This means that while the water resistant laminate sandwiched between the two layers of lightweight, anti-pill fleece will work to prevent leaking, it is not leakproof.
Fleece diaper covers are ideal for wearing around the house when baby doesn't need to be fully dressed (as in, pants don't need to pull on snuggly over baby's diaper covers). The pressure at the waist, bum or thigh may lead to leaks around the pressure areas.
The Polar Bummi diaper cover, not unlike the Bummis Super Whisper Wrap, is generously sized to fit well over prefold diapers and most fitted diapers
