bumGenius! 3.0 One-Size Cloth Diapers are convenient, adjustable and affordable pocket diapers.

PLEASE NOTE: As of July 1st, 2010 the 30 Day Test Drive has been discontinued for this product.

The soft, waterproof outer fabric of a bumGenius! 3.0 One-Size Cloth Diaper was made with trimness in mind; it needed to be just as trim on the newborn setting as on the toddler setting since these ONE-SIZE pocket diapers are intended to fit babies from birth to potty-training. Inside the diaper is a soft, sueded, non-pilling low pile fabric that wicks moisture away from your baby's skin. This means that baby's skin remains dry to the touch while wetness is held within the diaper's absorbent core inserts.

The rolled-out casings at the thigh and waist are stretchy, yet gentle, keeping messes in and red marks away. Finally, the unique and patent pending pocket opening (where an insert is stuffed into the pocket of the diaper) is covered to keep baby's skin from exposure to any of the wetness absorbed into the inserts laying inside the pocket.

Stretch-to-fit Tabs

The sleeker and trimmer (patent pending) non-wicking, stretch-to-fit tabs will easily stretch around baby's waist for a simple, yet snug and comfortable fit. The new grippier texture of the hook and loop closures ensures the tabs stay where you put them. You do not have to be familiar with any cloth diaper folding techniques to use these pocket diapers; simply lay baby atop them, wrap around the tabbed wings, secure them to the front and you're done!

The Absorbency Advantage - Now with TWO Microfiber Inserts

Pocket diapers are likely the most absorbent cloth diapering system available on the market; the secret is in the insert. Each bumGenius! 3.0 One-Size Cloth Diaper is bundled with TWO of their acclaimed Microfiber Inserts - a newborn insert (which can be used as an overnight absorbency booster when your baby moves past the newborn size) and a regular sized insert. As with all pocket diapers, the bumGenius One-Size Cloth Diapers can be stuffed to tailor absorbency for your specific child's wetting patterns. The redesign built in a wider slot along the inner back to allow even a man-sized hand to easily stuff or remove inserts from the pocket.

Should you be concerned about leakage at the waist due to the wider opening? Not at all! The bumGenius! 3.0 One-Size Cloth Diapers still has the unique covered pocket opening, keeping wetness completely way from your baby's skin.

Unique Waterproof Insert Stopper

In most pocket diapers, the inserts or prefold diapers they are stuffed with can push all the way up to the waistline in the front. This can encourage moisture wicking into baby's clothing as the diaper rolls ouward. The bumGenius! 3.0 One-Size Cloth Diapers are sewn with a waterproof insert stopper at the front waist that disallows the Microfiber Inserts from pushing too far forward in the front. This also serves as a flat, trimmer area to fold down for newborns or smaller babies.

Nice Idea but Odd Fit 7/27/2010
Reviewed by: Leymah from GA.
I really like the BG diapers; they fit well and are the favorite of my in-laws! But this one-size pocket diaper just didn't fit my 2-month old well at all. The crotch area is too wide and it looks bulky and uncomfortable on her. Also, I prefer the sewn-in soaker so I don't have to remember to bring the liners out every trip. Maybe we'll try it again when baby is older and bigger, but for now we're sticking with the sized BG diapers.

I must say these have to be one of the easiest diapers on the market. They are well made, adorable, and easy to clean. They fabric that touches the skin does not bunch like other brands. Thus making poo MUCH easier to clean off! I love these!

As far as the diaper goes, these are GREAT! easy to put on, easy to adjust, easy for dad and no leaks. a great easy diaper, especially for someone who is new to cloth!

I'm new to cloth diapering and I have a very squirmy 1 year old so I needed to be able to diaper a moving target in one quick step. These definitely do the trick. They have also held in some serious messes without leaking or getting outside of the diaper. My only complaint is that you have to change the cover and insert each time (which I know is true of all pocket diapers). It just means that we need more than we would of another kind.

When I first started researching cloth diapers when I was pregnant with my son, I stumbled on the BG OS PD. I decided this would be my cloth diaper of choice (mostly because it is widely available) and added them to our registry. We received 26 of these diapers through the course of all of the showers we had! I adored them so much. Very easy to use - so similar to a disposable that anyone unfamiliar to cloth diapering can use them. Highly highly recommend!

I have one of these diapers in my stash. I used it for the first time last night on my 3 mo old. He is a heavy night wetter and this diaper held up with no leaks. I stuffed the pocket with a prefold and the inner lining felt almost dry when I took it off him this morning. The down fall is that you need enough of these to use one per diaper change in a day, and that can get pricey.

I absolutely adore this diaper! We starting using our bumGenius! One-Size the day we brought our daughter home from the hospital! She weighed 7lb 6oz when we brought her home at just 3 days old and they were still a perfect fit! We have never had a problem with leaks either which I was initially concerned about because she was so small. They wash well, the aplix do not disconnect from the wash tabs during soaks or washes and they are quick to dry! Will be purchasing more without hesitation!

I have 20 mo. old HEAVY wetter who tummy-sleeps 12 hrs. at night. I stuff this with 2 microfiber inserts and she's dry all night! Didn't have that luck with other diapers or even the BG 2.0 version. Sturdy Bum Genius 3.0 3/31/2010
Reviewed by: Julie from Connecticut.
I have several Bum Genius 3.0 diapers and I like them - of the four types of cloth diapering I sampled, they seem made of the most durable material. 2 complaints is the velcro gets annoying to remember to tab down before washing (they stick to everything!) - I wish they had snaps like the Flip, and I had light staining despite following wash instructions, but hope to put them out on a sunny day to remove stains. Otherwise, a great product!

I have tried Flip, Gro Baby, Bum Genius and Rumparooz. The inside is super soft and doesn't pill and wicks away moisture. The insert is horrible, I always have leaks. I stuff it with a Flip insert and that is the best match for us. The velcro also gets icky after a few washes. The velcro is rough and will scratch your baby. It has washer tabs but they always comes loose and pull the inserts. Poor fitting around the leg. Not for overnight use. Easy to use.

I only have enough diapers for one full day with two kids, so I wash every night. Even after a month of washing every day, they look great. Rough Velcro, Not Very Soft on Babies' Belly 2/26/2010

I purchased one of these to try out after reading all the great reviews about it only to find out how disappointing it really is. The velcro is very rough, not soft at all. I guess maybe I'm just so used to grobaby since theirs is sooo soft it feels just like cloth. This one rubs on baby's belly when he's sitting up causing redness. It's already hard when I rub my hand across it so I know it's even harder on the baby's belly. I even like the Flip better, and that's not saying much.

My son is a heavy wetter so we use both inserts for extra absorbtion & it is still trim fitting. At 14mos & 27lbs, he is still on medium setting so we will be getting our money's worth! Only problem is after 1yr of use the aplix isn't looking too good.

I love the BG 3.0 diapers! I firmly believe they are the reason that our baby slept through the night from the beginning. However, now that we have moved to middle snaps at 20 weeks, we are having difficulties with leakage! Not sure why they are leaking now. But, we have followed all of the instructions.

I only have one lonely BG diaper but I love it. Its my go to diaper for night time use for my 6.5month old daughter. My daughter sleeps roughly 8-10 hours a night maybe waking once, in her BG she can last the full 8hrs and when she wakes no leaking nothing. This diaper fits her very well, she is still on the smallest setting at 15lbs and its very trim which I like. Her pants fit over it extremely well!

I've been using these diapers since DD#1 turned 1 yr. old and have absolutely loved them! They're super easy to use and I haven't had any problems with washing or upkeep. Just make sure you lay the covers out to dry...the velcro does wear out eventually if they're constantly in the dryer! We'll be using them again with #2 soon!

Good OS diaper! 10/20/2009

After hearing a lot of good things about them, I decided to try BG OS diapers when my son outgrew his first cloth diapers. With them being OS he has been able to wear them a few months, but I recently found out they are equal to size medium in other brands. My son is 20 lb and on the largest setting and they are getting too small. I'm having to look into other brands that are made bigger. But I have really loved the BGs

I love my bumgenius one-size-pocket diaper. The Velcro makes it easy to put on a squirming baby and I am so glad that my baby won't grow out of it as fast as she grew out of her newborn onsies.
Wonderful for Night time 10/16/2009

I use these at night and for longer car trips with my daughter who is a moderate to light wetter... I like that they can be used as a cover or an AIO... most times I use them as a cover over a contoured pre-fold diaper that I have made... I love them... can't wait to purchase more.... Although, I wish they were a bit less expensive...

We have used these on my daughter for 11 months and they are fabulous. We used the infant insert until she was 10 months old during the day then used the infant insert with the toddler one for night time use. She is always dry and she is a thin baby. The fir is great. I also recomended these to my sister-in-law. She loves them and wish she had not waited until my niece was 3 months old to start using them.
Our go-to diaper 10/8/2009

We have been using these on our daughter since she was 2 weeks old--and she is 7 months now. We have no issues with leaking, stinking, or fit. BG one-size pocket diapers are the first and best cloth diaper we've tried. Pocket allows you to stuff as needed, and as baby's needs have changed the diaper adapts. Totally babysitter and nursery-friendly, too! We highly recommend these.
bumGenius has been my main choice of diaper 10/6/2009

I have tried maybe 6 different types of diapers and have chosen the bumGenius brand for the majority of my diapers. I love them. They are perfect because they fit from infant to toddler, I have been using them for over a year (my son is 17 months) and are still in great condition. The only thing I see as being a problem durability-wise is the velcro flaps. They are not as sticky as they were when they were newer. But they do still hold the diaper on.

I have been using these diapers full time for 8+ months on my baby and toddler and really like them. They make great nighttime diapers. Have lots of room for stuffing. The aplix closures have been holding up pretty good. I noticed recently that the edges have started to curl on some of them, but they're still pretty sticky. The only problem worth mentioning is that they stink after a couple months use. I'd definitely recommend getting a cloth diaper friendly detergent!

I love my BG one size diaper for my girls - it fits both my 2 year old daughter (28 lbs) and my 8 month old (17 lbs) - we don't have leaks (even at night w/ an xtra doubler!). I love not having to worry about sorting my laundry between the 2 girls with my one-size. I would definitely recommend this diaper - esp if you have more than 1 child in diapers.
