Simple to Use with Any Water Type

We get a lot of requests for cloth diaper detergents that can work the gamut from soft to hard water; bumGenius! laundry detergent can do it all. There are There are 71 HE / 35 normal loads in each box with a scoop sized specifically for cloth diaper washes.

USAGE NOTE: Scoop is sized for normal water conditions. Actual use may have to be modified based on your water type, the age of your child and the condition of your diapers. Use more detergent if you have hard water.

As always, a more regular cloth diaper washing schedule will protect your diaper fibers and keep them more fresh. We recommend washing every other day, and for best results, rinse soiled diapers more thoroughly with a Mini-Shower Spray Wand

Not great for hard water

We have pretty hard water here, and this detergent doesn't deal with that so well. Doesn't cause build-up or anything, though!

Wouldn't use anything else.

I have never used anything else on my bumGenius cloth diapers. I ma privy to the name and I also think that it works wonders with getting the smell out of the diapers as well as stains. The only thing I did wrong was use a whole scoop on a large load of diapers as opposed to only a quarter cup like the diapers themselves tell you to do. Needless to say I ended up with soap build-up which caused leaks. Don't use more than the diapers say, don't follow what the detergent box says.

BumGenius makes a better diaper than they do detergent. I've been going through just about every brand to see what I like the best. This is definitely not it. My diapers still smell and have stains after washing according to the instructions on the box.

I got this detergent in a gift pack for my baby shower and don't think it works as well as Rockin' Green I previously used. I've had a ton of problems with stink build up and had to switch back to Rockin' Green or Country Save to fix it.

I love this detergent. It smells nice and gets out lots of stains without issues. If I have really soiled diapers the sun always does the trick too after washing and drying. My only complaint is the packaging because I end up with loose white powder over other items it is shipped with or in my laundry room, so great product but kinda messy!
