I just ordered a bunch of pre-folds to try finally, super excited for the change :)
Kristen Burch Date 2/1/2013
I love prefolds...we use an extra inside all our diapers for some extra absorbency.
Ashley Date 2/1/2013
I've not tried prefolds, but REALLY want to! We use mostly pockets, but some AIOs and AI2s. I've been scared to make the leap because my toddler is SO wiggly and hard to change! I could use the push ;)
Lisa Date 2/1/2013
Before our LO was born we bought 2 dozen prefolds, some thirsties covers, and a couple of Pockets and AIOs. We thought we would use the prefolds until we decided which pockets/AIOs we liked the best and bought more of those. We ended up liking the prefolds the best and have stuck with those! They were so much more absorbent, which we needed for our heavy wetter, and were so much easier to use than we had thought they would be!
Katie S Date 2/1/2013
I've tried prefold diapers, but only pad folded. I've been really happy with my Sweet Pea prefold inside a Sweet Pea cover for nap times. After my son's nap the prefold was completely soaked, front to back, but no leaks! Most of my pocket diapers leak before the insert is saturated, so I was very pleased.
Holly Date 2/1/2013
Would love to add these to the stash, never tried them before so I hope they're good
Rebecca K. Date 2/1/2013
Prefolds are so versatile. Good everyday, none of the hassles of microfiber and very easy to clean.
Lauren A. Date 2/1/2013
We use prefolds daily in covers - we preferred the idea of reusing covers during the day and using pockets/AIO at night to save money
Laura J Date 2/1/2013
I haven't used prefolds, but I've heard great things and want to try with my next one :)

Melissa C. Date 2/1/2013
We haven't used prefolds, but I recently found the love for flats :-)
Meredith E Date 2/1/2013
I have used prefolds, but found Snappis to be a pain. I ended up just laying the prefolds in the cover or slipping them into pocket diapers. Microfiber inserts just seemed to work better for my son though, absorbency wise.
Laura Jackson Date 2/1/2013
With Baby #1, I never considered prefolds. I just didn't "get" them and thought AIO's/pockets were THE way to go. Now, with Baby #2, I am filling out our stash with prefolds and flats! So simple, so reliable, and so inexpensive! :)
Maggie Martin Date 2/1/2013
We have always used prefolds. They are by far my favorite. We mainly use them and have a few pockets for night time use but that's it. Prefolds all the way baby:-)

I've been using pocket diapers and just added some prefolds to my stash and love them! Would love more :)
Amanda G. Date 2/1/2013
We're in the process of purchasing more prefolds, because it seems like the better option to indoor diapering rather than soiling a bunch of pockets. Don't know yet! We'll have to see!
Kimberly w. Date 2/1/2013
I do use prefolds when we stay home. I purchased them to use as inserts but love them much better as diapers! They are much easier than I though too. I love them. Plus caring for them is super easy.

Alesia Southwick Date 2/1/2013
I have flats and prefolds and I like prefolds better--I actually padfold my flats so they are more like a tri-folded prefold. I just bought a stash of newborn-sized prefolds for the new baby coming in July. Hope I like them as well on a newborn as I do on my almost two-year-old.
Melinda Date 2/1/2013
I used prefolds with my second son. I was intimidated by them with my first! But I decided to give them a try with my second and ended up loving them. I'm currently pregnant with my 3rd, and plan to start out with prefolds.
Tanya P Date 2/1/2013

I am just starting out cloth diapering. I do have prefolds to try, I've heard great things!

aline simkiss Date 2/1/2013
I JUST ordered our first cloth diapers! This is baby #6, and we're taking the leap, I am very excited!! I was overwhelmed with all the choices, and although I really wanted to try prefolds, I went with the pocket diapers. The only person I know who did CD with her children said she absolutely loved Fuzzibunz, and not having any other opinion, I went with that (although I got BumGenius instead, based on reviews on this site - I was going to get some of both but Fuzzibunz are on backorder).
Laura Fulks Date 2/1/2013
I have only used pockets so far but prefolds and covers are next on my ilist!

Ashley Owen backherms Date 2/1/2013
I have only used prefolds and I love them! I have a couple pockets in my stash and I never get them out!
Lydia Lax Date 2/1/2013
I love prefolds. They are easy to trifold and fit under covers. I use a snappi with large prefolds under wool as well. We interchange with Aios and pockets.
Bonnie Titus (facebook Bonnie Lou-Titus Green) Date 2/1/2013
I plan on using prefolds with either velcro tab covers or slip on. Very traditional, lol. I thought I would like snap diapers more because they're more modern but honestly, it took me a long time to snap one on a stuffed animal and I just don't have the patience for that at 3am, lol.

I've dabbled with them, and I was surprised that I like them. If I could teach the husband to like them, I'd just use them instead of pockets.
Kenael Segal Date 2/1/2013
I haven't used cloth diapers yet, I'm expecting in March but will definitely be going the prefolds and covers route for a while. Would be nice to win something for my ever growing stash.
Anna P Date 2/1/2013
I started using prefolds when my son was three months old. BG4.0s and Freetimes are still my go to diapers, but I like to use prefolds and covers around the house to keep wear and tear off my others.
Krystal Glick Date 2/1/2013
My friend gave me her prefolds after she used them on her daughter. I thought they would be my last resort diapers, but I really like them much more than I thought I would!
Leia T Date 2/2/2013
Haven't tried prefolds yet. Curious though!
Heidi Date 2/2/2013
Prefolds have been a best friend. They last and last through several kiddoes and are so economical. They saved me in the newborn stage, when we went through 8-10 diapers a day. I had a stack of 12 prefolds and therefore did not have to wash everyday.
Amanda Alvarado Date 2/2/2013
I used them and they are great for at home but I preferred something trimmer when out and about.
Brittany Date 2/2/2013
I love prefolds with my daughter and now that baby #2 is on the way i cant wait try them out on a newborn!
Christa Mattatall Date 2/2/2013
I currently only have 3 prefold but am expecting and will certainly want to try them with the new addition to the family as i hear great things about them with newborns :) i must admit I do love the ones I have but they were tye dyed when i bought them and I cant stop them from running so they rarely get used as I need to wash them separately or all my other diapers would be pink. ( they are bright red)
Heatherr Ramey Date 2/2/2013
I eould use prefolds more if i had more they are a great go to diaper. laundry is easier!
Lily Ivey Date 2/2/2013
Bummis where the first prefolds we tried and we loved them. Definitely need to size up.

Eva Lepe Date 2/3/2013
I use prefolds, they are the 30% of my stash, I love them
Melissa K Date 2/3/2013
We just rwceived some prefolds. I think I prefer flats because prefolds require extra time to dry. They will be better when we arent in an apartment.
Lauren Date 2/3/2013
This would be great for our first baby due in May!
Charity Date 2/3/2013
I plan to use prefolds to begin with. I just think they are so cute and fluffy!

Brandi Powell Date 2/4/2013
I use prefolds all the time! So much easier than some people think, love them!
Aimee H Date 2/4/2013
I'm planning on using prefolds, especially for the newborn stage. They're super cheap, easy to wash, and I can use them for wipes or stuffing once the baby is bigger.
sam dock Date 2/4/2013
I tried prefolds on my son but he was much older when we made the switch to cloth. This time I will be starting at the newborn stage so I would like to see how that goes with prefolds also.
Nicole Sanchez Date 2/4/2013
I have yet been able to try prefolds but Ireally want too!
ESTHER Date 2/4/2013
Prefolds make up about half of my stash. Love how easy they are to wash and dry, but I also love having the option of grabbing an AIO or pocket when I'm pressed for time.
Leela R. Date 2/4/2013
I used prefolds from a diapers service on my brother and sister, so that's the only kind of cloth diaper I have any experience with. I bought a bunch of prefolds to use with my baby as well (love snappis instead of pins btw), but will also be trying out pockets, fitteds, and AIOs. I have a feeling the "new diaper" styles will be great as well and can't wait to get started.
Carrie C Date 2/4/2013
I have 6 prefolds (not sure the size - I got them used) and at first I didn't use them. Mostly because they were to big for my new baby. But now that my baby is older and wetting more, I have started to use them. I really like them and am wanting to add more to my stash. I have read great things about the Bummis products and would love to try these. Thanks!
Anne M Date 2/4/2013
I have not yet tried prefolds, but I am interested because they dry faster, are cost effective and can last longer!
Angela Huber Date 2/4/2013
I JUST started cloth diapering and we began with Diaper Rite prefolds and Rumparooz newborn covers. I'd really like to try Bummis because I'm already a fan of prefolds! I have heard good things about the whisper cover. Pick me! Pick me! :)
Michelle Date 2/4/2013
I used pre folds when my little one was a newborn so she has grown out of those tiny ones. I'd like to get some bigger ones in her size but it just isn't in the budget right now. Definitely love prefolds!
Jessica D. Date 2/4/2013
I usually just use prefold around the house. I love how well they wash, they seem to come cleaner than my pocket diapers. I also love how I can get more than one diaper change out of the cover.

Prefolds make up about half of my stash. Love how easy they are to wash and dry, but I also love having the option of grabbing an AIO or pocket when I'm pressed for time.
Jill I Date 2/4/2013
Definitely like them more than I thought. I think they hold in messes the best of all diaper types, but we don't use them often between daycare and hubby. I live having them for backup, but go through spurts of preferring them myself.
I've found them useful for bulking up nighttime solutions, and also even in our travel potty!!
Becky J Date 2/5/2013
Just starting would love to increase my stash!

I'll be starting to use cloth diapers come June, and I can't wait to try every kind... prefolds, fitteds, covers, AIO's, pockets, etc... :D

I do actually use them! Sometimes as inserts for pockets though lol. Not as their intended use.

Our CD journey began in prefolds and covers and they are still our go-to alternative when the pockets and AIO's are on the drying rack. We have prefolds in ALL sizes which is awesomely handy seeing how we have a newborn and a toddler who are both in diapers.

I have a good bit of prefolds that I bought after finding a whole bunch of covers at a consignment sale. Baby won't be here until March so I haven't used them yet but I will admit that I'm pretty nervous about the whole thing. Pretty sure that I will mostly just use them for at home though since I don't think I'll have the patience to teach other people how to do it right.

I'm stocking up in prefolds and covers for my second due in June. This would be an excellent addition, as I've not tried this brand yet.

I just got some prefolds a couple of weeks ago, after first having pockets, AIOs, AI2s, hybrids, fitteds, pretty much every kinds -- and I love them more and more every day -- simple, easy and fast! and you can use them for everything else -- burp cloths, cleaning up a spill, etc!

I prefer the simplicity of snap in inserts but prefolds did end up being easier than I thought they would be. I don't love the bulkiness of them, though.

I love prefolds and Bummis too!

I am just starting to research what diapers I will use and so far prefolds are at the top of my list! They are what my mom always used so I feel most comfortable with them.

I haven't used prefolds on my own child yet but have when changing a friend's baby. I plan on using them on the baby I'm pregnant with now. :)
Delia Date 2/7/2013
Ive used prefolds with two babies now. With the first babe is was prefolds with a snappi and wool/fleece soakers. This new guy is way to squirmy for all that business so after the newbie stage we started doing a tri-fold and laying them in the covers or we use them as stuffers for pocket dipes.
Christina S Date 2/7/2013
I LOVE prefolds! They were all I used until 6 months ago when I added pockets for my husband.
