Happy Fourth of July!!Today on America’s day of birth, the day our Founding Fathers declared independence from the Motherland, England, I thought I’d exercise my right of freedom of speech. To celebrate this right I have loosely altered the first two paragraphs of the Declaration of Independence. Now, please understand that it’s with deep admiration and respect that I have written this; I tried to avoid changing the beautiful language Mr. Jefferson authored.
Thus, I bring to you, The Declaration of Fluffy Butts:
When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the disposable lifestyle which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Sustainability and of Nature's fabrics entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all diapers are created equal, that they are endowed by their designers with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Natural Fibers, PUL and the pursuit of Wooliness.--That to secure these rights, a community is instituted among all parents, deriving their just powers from the consent of the easy and disposable, --That whenever any norm of society and its popular culture becomes destructive of these ends and the environment, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute a new "normal," laying its foundation on such sustainable principles and organizing its fluffy stash in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Security of the planet in which their children will grow up in.
