Moby Wraps are Comfortable for Mom and Baby!

The Moby Wrap was designed to be comfortable for both Mom and baby - as well as other caregivers. Many baby carriers and slings utilize narrow canvas straps or fabric that drape across a single shoulder, but the Moby Wrap is constructed of a wide span of fabric; it uses various folds to evenly distribute baby's weight across both shoulders and the entire back of the person wearing it; no more aching backs and tired arms!

Not fitted with buckles, snaps or other types of fasteners, the Moby Wrap is simple in design and easily adjusts to you and your baby's size for ease of use and totally customized comfort.

Made of 100% cotton, the Moby Wrap measures 5.5 meters (18 feet) in length and can be wrapped comfortably around nearly any adult and and baby, making it one of the favored baby carriers for plus size moms. The fabric can hold up to a 45 lb baby, but families who have used the Moby Wrap as a baby carrier for toddlers say they feel comfortable carrying a child up to 35 lbs.

Moby Wrap Wash & Care

The Moby Wrap is one of the easier baby carriers to care for because it is machine washable. Wash your Moby Wrap in cold water and tumble dry low. You can expect slight shrinkage after washing, like with most cotton-based fabrics, but once you start wearing your Moby Wrap again, it will stretch out.

I love our Moby Wrap and so does my daughter. As a newborn, she would fall right to sleep in it. Now, she loves to come along with me while I hang laundry out to dry or vacuum the house. Keeps baby cozy and close and gives you 2 free hands.

I waited until my son was about 3 months old before I bought my Moby because I didn't think I would get my use out of it. Now I wish I had gotten it sooner! I wear my Moby any chance I get! I'll be so sad once he grows out of it.

After several years of using other carriers and my kids hating them, I decided to spend a little extra money to get a Moby. I won't use anything else ever again! The first time I put my infant in it he slept for almost 6 hours! During the hot summer it is a little warmer, but I just keep him naked and wear as little myself as possible. I now have two for when my other one is getting cleaned.

I think with practice and a little more patience, I would have loved this wrap but as a new mom, I just didn't have the time nor the patience! If you do want to try this, I would suggest getting a different carrier when baby gets heavier.

I really loved using the moby with all three of my children. They can snuggle right in, and the cloth is soft so they always felt comfortable. I love how you can use the moby to create so many different holding styles, and the company website has pictures and directions for each hold. The only thing I don't like about the moby is that it is hard to use in public. The wrap is really long and can be awkward when you are tying it.

The Moby is a great carrier, even my husband will use it! Once you learn how to put it on, you'll find it to be very secure. Great for newborns who love to be swaddled and hear mom's breathing and heartbeat. Two negatives: can be very hot to wear so many layers, and it's a little time consuming to get on.

I LOVE THIS WRAP! I have had this since my son was 2 months old and now he is a year old. I keep it in my car and use it everywhere, hiking, grocery shopping, raspberry picking, you name it, you can do it with your baby in the moby wrap. I just recently tried the back position and love it! My son is 23 lbs and it still feels like he weighs almost nothing in this carrier. It is a must have!

I have used and made nearly every kind of carrier out there, but hadn't tried the Moby because I had another kind of wrap and hated it. I stopped in and bought this carrier for a last minute day trip recently and fell in LOVE! The fabric is soft and comfortable and I find myself making excuses to use this. Have had the most success with kangaroo hold, but baby is only 2 months old, so we'll see, but I have definitely made room in my carrier stash for this one!

I love this wrap!It's a bit tricky the first couple of times, but once you get the hang of it, it's easy. I've tried other wraps and this one is my favorite! I recommend this wrap. It's great!

When I was pregnant, I did a ton of research and settled on the Moby as my carrier; it looked comfortable, easy, and portable! But my little girl arrived, and she hated it. She would cry as I put her in, and wouldn't stop until I took her out. She didn't do this with our other carriers; finally I gave up on Moby. I would love it, because it folds smaller than other carriers. But remember your child will have preferences too, so don't spend a lot til the baby's born and you know what she wants!

I've tried pouch slings, ring slings and baby bjorn style carriers, but always go back to the Moby. It is kind of annoying to have to re do all the tying each time, but buckles and rings are jut as annoying to me. It's stretchy and breathable. It's also the only carrier that doesn't hurt my back and shoulders after 30 minutes of wearing.
